Measuring Guide

The below is just a guide. We recommend that whenever possible you get a qualified seamstress to measure your dress size. It is better for you to get someone else to make the measurements for you in case of the inaccuracy of self-measuring. Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; do not measure over other clothing.

: Bust
This is not your bra size, when measuring you must wear a bra. Your arms should be relaxed, and down at your sides. Then, take the tape across the fullest part of your bust and around your back.

: Waist
This is the natural waistline, which is also the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`s about an inch above your belly button.

: Hips
Please measure the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone, which is approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.

: Hollow to Floor
This is the length from your hollow ( the hollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.

: Inside Sleeve
Start the tape in your armpit and measure your straight arm to the wrist.

: Arm Width
Relax your arm and measure around the largest part of the upper arm.

For Maternity Dresses

: Upper Bust
*Relax arms at sides *Measure the highest part of the chest *Pull the tape right underneath the arms.

: Bust
*This is not your bra size! *Wear an unpadded bra (your dress will have a built-in bra) *Relax arms at sides *Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust.

: Under Bust
*Measure immediately under breasts.

: Around Belly
*Find the fullest part of the belly *Pull tape around the belly *Keep tape slight loose for comfort.

: Hips
*Find the widest part of the hips *Usually about 7 in. below natural waist *Make sure tape is parallel to the floor *Tape should brush across both hipbones .

: Hollow to Floor
*Stand straight with feet together *Measure in bare feet *Begin at the hollow space between the collarbones and pull tape straight down to the floor *To fit high heels, we'll add an extra 5 cm onto custom-sized floor-length dresses and dresses with trains.

Measure from the top of the shoulder, down the front of the shoulder, under the arm pit, and up the back of the shoulder.

Whether you choose a standard size or give us your custom measurements, all our dresses suits are personally tailored for you from scratch. Because of this, shipping time is different for these special items.
Shipping Time
Total Shipping Time is based on the time it will take to tailor your dresses + the time taken for the finished dress to be shipped to you.
Wedding Party & Special Occasion Dresses,Wraps
As usual, it will take 10-13 business days to tailor your dresses and wraps by our professional dressmakers, but some dresses with more elaborate designs or detailing may take longer to tailor. It will then take about 3-8 business days for the package travel from our facilities to your destination, the exact shipping time is based on the shipping company (EMS, UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.) standard.

Wedding Dresses
It will take 13-15 business days to tailor your dresses by professional dressmaker, but some dresses with more elaborate designs or detailing may take longer to tailor. Tailoring times are noted on each dress's product page. Also it will take about 3-8 business days for the package travel from our facilities to your destination, the exact shipping time is based on the shipping company (EMS, UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.)

Wraps
It will take 7-9 business days to tailor your Wraps by professional dressmaker. Also it will take about 3-8 business days for the package travel from our facilities to your destination, the exact shipping time is based on the shipping company (EMS, UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.) standard.

FIT GUIDE

Cancellation Policy

We will start processing your order as soon as we receive the payment from you. Whether you ordered a standard size or custom measurements, and the materials cannot be reused once the creation process has begun. So if you want to cancel your paid order, we will suffer big loss. The good news is that after placing your order, there is still time to change your mind. Please refer to our cancellation and return policies below for details.

Item cancellation requests received within 24 hours of payment, we will be a full refund.
Item cancellation requests received within 24 to 48 hours, we will refund 80% of payment for goods.
Item cancellation requests received within 48 to 72hours, we will refund 50% of payment for goods. After 72 hours till accomplishment, we will refund 30% of payment for goods.Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Upon the arrival of your package, we encourage you to check and make sure that the dress or clothing has been made to the standard size or custom measurements that you specified. Try on your dress or clothing as soon as possible without removing the tags, altering, or washing the dress.

If you are returning or exchanging dresses, clothing, or accessories, please make sure they are in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, free of lint and hair and with tags intact and attached.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you believe your items were damaged during shipping, please be ready to provide Customer Service with photographs clearly showing the problem with the items., you will get full refund once we verify it, after that, we will make a claim on the delivery company.

Unsuitable Size

As all of our dresses and clothing is hand-sewn and custom-tailored according to the size you offered to us, the finished gown may vary by approximately one (1) inch in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure that your item will still fit you perfectly, our tailors have created all our dresses with additional fabric in the seams to allow minor size modifications to be made easily. If you find that your dress doesn't fit you, you can contact with our customer service staff first, photographed the sizes of the dress you receive according to our below measurement guidance. We will contact you once we verify the size pictures or videos.

Measure Guidance:

Bust:
1. Please fold the dress along the middle place between two nipples.
2. Please measure along the red line, and make sure the tape pass nipple. It is important for you to measure correctly.
3. Then double the measurement, you will get the exact measurement of the dress you get.

Waist

Please tense the dress, and measure from one side-sealing to the other side.

Hips

Please tense the dress and measure the place of hips from one side to the other.

Nipple to Front Bottom

Please flatten the dress, and then measure from nipple to the front bottom of the dress.
Note: The tape should go along with red line.

Color MismatchColor Mismatch

Dresses are strictly made according to the color you choose, Slight color differences may appear because of the settings of your computer screen, however, if you are confident that you have received the item in a wrong color, please provide Customer Service with photos to see if a return or refund is possible. We will resolve this kind of problem as soon as possible.

Overdue Orders

We make dresses according to the time noted on our product page, to ensure the quality, some dresses with more elaborate designs or detailing may take longer to tailor, Customers whose items are overdue by no more than 10 business days can choose to cancel the order and get a full refund, the time confirmed with customers who offered incorrect size or wrong information doesn't belong to overdue orders.

Return Process

1.Submit a return request at Contact us to Customer Service within 7 calendar days upon receiving your order. Please include an explanation and photographs stating the reason for your return. Please note that returns will not be accepted without prior approval from Dresskindom.com Customer Service.
2.Once Dresskindom.com Customer Service has approved your request, we will provide you with return address as well as a Product Return Form that must be filled in and included with your return. Please send the item(s) through your local post office within 3-5 business days once you have received the form. Include the Product Return Form with your return, please don't use courier agency like UPS, DHL or Fedex to return the parcel as we will not pay for the custom fee that might caused.
3.Once received at our facility, your return will be processed within 24 hours. Once your return is confirmed and inspected, please allow up to two billing cycles for it to be credited to your account. Please note the items returned in unacceptable condition will not be processed as refunds and will be shipped back to you.

A perfect fitting dress starts with perfect measurements. Before ordering your custom size, we strongly encourage finding a professional local tailor who can help you measure accurately. Measuring yourself at home is harder than you think!

We can tailor dresses according to photos. Please send us the front and back photos by email. We will check and give you our best quotation. Thanks for your support.

3. Can I make changes to the dress item I am interested in purchasing?

You could make alterations to the items but we suggest that you don't make big alterations because every dress is designed for their own features, once there are alterations, it may lose its original beauty.

4. Can I order the dress in a different fabric?

You can order the dress in different fabrics but we suggest that you don't you change, because the dress may look different from its original appearance and may lose its own beauty. If you really want to order it in your favorite fabric, please write down you special requests when placing orders. If the result of the dress made in other fabrics isn't good, we will inform you immediately once received your orders.

5. What does pending mean?

Pending order means that you still haven't made payment for the order. If you still want it, please make payment first. We always start to process orders after confirmation of payment.

6. How long will I receive my dress?

Normally it takes 12~15 days to process dresses and 15~18 days to process wedding dresses. The shipping time is depended on your delivery address. The normal shipping time is 3~5 business days by TNT and 3~8 business days by EMS.

7. Can I request fabric swatches?

Yes, we could send fabric swatches to customers. Please kindly be reminded that there will be little color difference between the color swatch and the color we made the dress as it is normal that there is slight color difference for each lot of fabric. On the other hand, you should pay for the shipping cost. Please advise us your delivery address and we will calculate the delivery cost for you. We will send a bill to you to pay for it and we will send out the swatches after receipt of your payment.

8. Does the dress will be the same as picture?

All of our dresses are custom made products and we always tailor dresses strictly according to our website pictures but please understand that sometimes there will be some small differences which cannot be avoided.

9. Will my dress exactly match the color I see on your website?

There might be a slight difference between the actual dress's color and what you see in the photo depending on your computer monitor's display settings.

10. Will I get a full refund if I didn't receive my package？

We will inform you the tracking number, once we send out the package to you. If you didn't receive your package within certain time, please contact us and we will check the status for you. We will give you a satisfactory answer depends on certain situations.

11. Can I change the color and size after placing orders?

Normally you could change the color and size within 24 hours after placing orders. Please inform us first if you would like to change and we will check for you. After 24 hours, it couldn't be changed any more.

12. Can I see the dress in different colors?

The photos displayed on our website are everything we currently have. We aim to provide all the information you need on the product pages. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please click the "Color Chart" button and you can view the electronic color swatches.

13. As I am 16 weeks pregnant I am not sure what size I should get.

Concerning the fact that your baby is growing day by day, you'd better confirm when you will wear it. And then you can determine which size is more suitable for you. Also I suggest you order a big size, because you can alter it to fit you well when you want to wear it. Hope you enjoy shopping here.

14. Will I be charged extra money for the item?

As with any international shipment, taxes are charged (if any) by the local customs office in the recipient country. We have included a page on our site to inform customers about their responsibility for any taxes that might be charged on delivery. 15. Why should I provide "hollow to floor" size？

We use the hollow to floor measurement to determine where the knee is and then cut the correct length according to the dress design. See our guide for help on getting your exact measurements.

16. Is the bra wired?

No, the built-in bra is not wired. We are sorry that we can't make the bra wired for this dress. But when you measure your bust size, you may leave one or two centimeters so that you can wear a wired bra under this dress. Thank you for shopping with us.

17. Can I return or cancel the dress if I change my mind?

Our dresses aren't just pulled from a warehouse - once your order is confirmed, our tailors begin selecting materials in the color you requested and cutting fabric based on your measurements. Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customer. The custom nature of our dresses means our cancellation and return policy is stricter than for other items, so it's important to order carefully. 18. Will I be able to alter my dress if I receive it and it doesn't fit exactly right?

Yes. If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few inches in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. Dresses generally have a margin of 1 inch on either side of a seam. Flower detailing, beading or belts/ribbons may limit ability to let a dress out.
